3 Questions with Marlene Surun

Marlene Surun is an Administrative Coordinator for our In-home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring Program. The program works with children and families.

1. Marlene, how long have you been at LHBS?

This July 2018, I will have been here for six years.

2. What’s the most rewarding part of your role?

There are many things that are rewarding. The two best aspects of my role are the people I have met and with whom I have made great connections. Also great has been the opportunity to grow in my role. Because of this, I want to pursue a master’s degree in social work.

3. What do you do to relax after a busy day at work?

If I’m not going to the senior center for my Caribbean dance class, I usually just like to catch up on my DVR’ed shows.
